chapter 1: dia

December 12, 2010

On december 2nd, 2010 we launched dia.lo.gue artspace and its first exhibition. Curated by Asmudjo Jono Irianto, the theme for this first exhibition is ” all but paper” seni kertas kontemporer

Artists, Designer and Architect who participate are Aditya Novali, Adi Purnomo, Agan Harahap, Arief Tousiga, Budi Kustarto, Benny Messa, Hilman, Cinanti Astria Johansjah, Deden Hendan Durachman, Eddie Hara, Eric Wijaya, Iman Sapari, Henricus Linggawidjaja, Mendiola Wiryawan, Theresia Agustina Sitompul , T. Sutanto, Setiawan Sabana, Suklu and Traction

As the guests arrived, they were asked to hang the invitation on the big installation tree inside. The night started off with the sound art performance by Traction. There are sounds of paper being ripped, crushed; as well as the sound of paper bags being blown – all synthesized digitally and project the imaginative sound of the artist. Followed with a contemporary dance performance by Agung Gunawan.

After those performances, dia.lo.gue artspace was officially opened by Arini Subianto, Aksara and all guests are welcome to enjoy the space.
